I loved this movie, I was quite reluctant to see him, but when I finally left I'm glad I came. It starts a little confusing and you still will not get to the end of the first part, but
everything else was great as a fabulous set, and overall this film is really exciting!
just another big epic story of James Cameron, not to mention the stunning cinematography that gives you a sense of realism and glow.
This movie was pretty good. I'm excited if it was going to be a Avatar 2 coming out. I would definitely go and see it! It's worth the money. Everything about the film was new and very exciting to watch as the film reveals the hidden secrets to you. Although, if the next film could be a little more about Navi lives, it would be cool to see that too. And most of all, I think the Discovery Channel should do a commentary Avatar world. That would be awesome !!
and I did well overall as it is seriously magical blue creatures ???
James Cameron knows how to entertain an intelligent human beings! It is extremely well crafted film that criticizes the economic efficiency at the expense of destroying other people's culture. I had a feeling that one could read the U.S. hunger for oil and the invasion of Iraq, the plot of this allegory. But beyond this political message, this is a wonderful trip to the sci-fi world that is painstakingly created by teams of talented artists. It was worth every penny. I highly recommend this movie to be vas.Dizajn vehicle itself, worth the price of tickets!
This movie is easily the most over-hyped decades. As far as story line goes Avatar gets two stars for excessive and cliqued plot that left me wondering why this movie gets consistently good reviews. Of course, CGI was real and pretty, but good use of cinema and the computer does not make a special film.
And that he was overall a very average film, the worse the reviews saying that this is the best film of the decade.
This film is perfect for the innocent people who just have fun and enjoy staring at the glowing objects for hours at a time.
Barley is worth **
Do not let the creators of Avatar deceive us. What load of horse sh **. They release the film only to re-release a short while later with new scenes, and now quot; 3Dquot;.
Seriously, if the scenes are good enough to show us now then why not show them to us in the first place? 3D aspect, why not publish it in 3D when it first came out.
It is about sucking as much $ $ $ from your wallet as much as possible, and anyone that went to theaters to see it in reaffirming that the public will swallow them all the days until it packed well.
films is fun ... because it is 3D and you can see the Big Blue kiggling titties around. In addition, FIM is nothing, Navi sexy ass is 100% of filma.Helikopter ladys boobys even better woling on your face in 'beatuffil' 3 dimensions.
The film itself is all the critics say, the land rises from pochiontis or wih splashings ferns jaruga.Cijeli film is so avergae without snazzy effects and the gimmick that would be nothing at all. Compare this film as the Terminator 1, which was made on no budget and still stands as a great movie in the right, and imagine if he did it in 80-no money. Would it be sci-fi classic? No.
James Cameron's pretty muh lost it, and while the film you willentertain -. Its because shizzle flys on you, not because you scoop up some hawt Navi
Well apperently the story of the film is near abouts the same as the Disney film Pocahontas, and if you saw Pocahontas then the movie will be just like people with blue instead indians.well good news for me and I never saw the Pocahontas story and the movie avatar is a new and completely different, so if you go and see this film make sure you empty your mind of Pocahontas and the movie will end up giving you a great story.
it was boring and stupid. whether the animation is good, but I fell asleep! I had to watch it again! I dont know why everone loved it

I must say, the Avatar in 3D was absolutely nevjerojatna.Specijalnih effects were so stvarne.Film must have been a long time to make.BRAVO! I have given millions of stars!
ahh
If you are one of the five people who managed to refrain from watching James Camerons Avatar 2009 megahit, but I have one thing to say to you, stay home, watch Pocahontas, The Last Samurai, or Keith Olbermann and save yourself $ 10.
Shopworn story revolves around the Avatar Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), take a marine who is sent to a military / mining office in faraway planet Pandora. Pandora live 10-foot high blue primitive aliens affectionately known as Navi, which basically looks like the most lovable and cute creatures imaginable. Jake has hired a team of scientists to take control of Navi human hybrid bodies through a futuristic mind-link technology and soon 10-foot tall blue version of herself. Without giving too much away, Jake finds himself captured by local and foreigners soon to choose where his loyalties lie.
Donacirc, t be fooled by the exotic space, the film digresses quickly in clichAtilde, copy-play drive with an ending that can be seen from miles away. Two antagonists of the Avatar are ridiculously one-dimensional white men (what else?). One is the head of a military complex, Colonel Miles Quaritch (Stephen Lang). Colonel what elitist Hollywood thinks the military: an aggressive, chauvinist, callous, and eager for the destruction and death. He has some of the most ridiculous dialogue: lines for effect lets hurry up and destroy this peaceful local culture so that they can get back in time for dinner and shock and awe (sounds familiar). On top of that it sports a ridiculous set of scars on his face that is only surpassed in its dumbness over the top Southern accent.
Another opponent plays a minor role in the film, but it is funny, kind, and stereotyped as a colonel. Parker Selfridge (Giovanni Ribisi) is a corporate executive mining activity on Pandora, which is looking for mineral unobtanium explains that as Selfridge, acirc, selling 20 million kilo.acirc and wouldnacirc, t you know, a deposit of unobtanium is located just below the village Navi. Selfridge happiness is only a few appearances in the film, but Cameron ensures squeeze maximum amount of populist anger from the audience in each instance so that he sits in his plush corporate office and whine about his income. His second appearance, I fully expect him to give lavish bonuses to AIG, bankers, or at least, start by laying-off workers.
This film is a smug, simple, and manipulative as it gets in Hollywood. Especially in the movie business, sometimes you have to look past the absurd pseudo-philosophical politics and just enjoy the movie for what it is. And this movie had the same policy, but instead he looked like, say, The Godfather, I did just that. Unfortunately, Cameronacirc, the Avatar is mixed with a funny message even more ridiculous dijalog.Priča was predictable to me to be able to predict the exact line of the forest setting is a little too neon and fantastic to be taken seriously. Do not get me wrong, this movie is not unwatchable. On the contrary, visual (especially in IMAX 3D), all they cracked up to be. But the pictures donacirc, t make a film, they mean that is a compliment. As soon as Cameron sacrificed the story and screenplay for the 3D effect, it ceased to be a movie. The ultimate irony is that I would sacrifice all together stunning images and motion-capture technology in the world for a little depth and originality.
to see this movie, believe me
This movie was just ... wow, because no other word for it. I'm noy go wandering about. All im going to tell you that to watch.
film Avatar is a former Marine who was chosen for the mission at a place known as Pandora. Earth is a precious mineral that, when mined, is worth millions of dollars. The country has also created a technology that allows people to put in the chamber and become a creature that lives on Pandora. As Jake (the main character), it consumes more and more time on Pandora, becoming more connected all impressed on the planet. Jake also finds love in Pandora with him who teaches him the ways. As time passes, people get tired of waiting by Jake trying to get their trust, they arrange for an attack on Pandora and her people. Jake replied to the other creatures on the planet and end up being overcome obstacles and defeat people by forcing them to leave Pandora and Jake was able to transform into one of them, where he became one of the best warriors on the planet.
This film is quite good because it got many good reviews including this one. At first I wanted to go see this movie, but when I finally did, I turned to was wrong. After doing research on the Internet and asking other people how many stars to give it the five most common were four in the half. It was a very successful film that James Cameron, the irreplaceable cast Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Joel Moore, Zoe Saldana, and many others. Above all, I give this movie four and a half stars of five years.
CGI and were above all the movies of today, inlcuding others in 3D. The story is beuatiful and transferred all important messages to audiences is critical to today's secular aociety. Based on the movie I felt like I picture myself blue and lives in the woods and I was inspired to make my life naivčina.Moraju see, and well worth it you have to buy the DVD.
What can I say?
Consider Pokahontas Star Wars plus minus freshness, dialogue, and good writing. This is a tired old story badly. It is true pictures are great, or at least until you hit the blue overload, but as a half-dozen of my friends I've forced my way to see the predictable and idiotic finish. How on earth or Pandora (sigh) can make this mess more than say 2 stars is beyond me.
On the technical side, Avatar is simply nevjerojatno.Gibanje capture, excellent 3-D, amazing visuals, it's unbelievable. However, all technical Flash can not cover the huge drawbacks. First, the story is a complete repeat of the different films. There is nothing original in it and it's very predictable. Second, the action is mediocre at best. Worthington is fine, but on about it. Stephen Lang is ridiculous. Then there is the constant political komentar.Za environmental bombing, anti-military stance, anti-sorporation attitude. He goes on and on and on. He has every right to be involved in his film. But I also have the right to call it what it is. It is incredible that this movie is a lame story and performances were given the go just because it looks nice and Shiney.
awesome movie ... MST hour
This is a very good movie, but a very long film 3h so that I would recommend VIP seats, but it is very well thought out was amazin in 3D
I read recently that when activist saw the film quot; Avatarquot, James Cameron, they have become depressed. The reason why is because they see the world they lived and became sad that our world does not look like it was more due to global warming.
And even with global warming, our world would not look to.Biljke are literally out of this world.
And also rant and many other of the controversy this film has grossed up, it's just a movie and is very spectacular and audio presentations visiual story itself is amazing. Very well worth not only your time but money as well.
This film is worth quot; goodquot. Publicity has earned up to the
Avatar is awesome. I like CG, environment, everything. But there were times when you think the plot is like this, when actually the land was something else. It was finally when I read the magazine on the avatar, then I truly understood. All in all, Avatar is a good film, and must be watched no matter what.
I'm a cynical one who does not buy into the hype, especially about modern Hollywood special effects blockbusters. I believe that the main reason why people buy the avatar on such a large level (which contributed to the film became the most successful film of all time) is because they are clinging to a shred of hope that it will resemble the 2009 film epic success Cameronrsquo, and in 1997 the Titanic. Irsquo; sure not everyone is like Titanic, and I must admit some plot / dialogue clicheacute, D and romantic, cheesy, but the movie was so big and well-liked that Irsquo, safe now, people just want to have a large olrsquo; film experience like that again . Unfortunately, though, or at least in Hollywood today, another epic Titanic probably would not get around so easily, or maybe once in 30 years, I predict if wersquo re in luck. So to me, success is an avatar thrived mainly on false hopes.
Irsquo, m on a good roll now ndash; not buy into the Hollywood hype and all ndash; because I havenrsquo, not bought into any hype, because I watched Lord of the Rings. But at least this film series is good. And there are two reasons why the LTR is good that they do not relate to Cameronrsquo, Avatar: 1) Well, interesting plot, and 2) Well, the relevant special effects.
Avatar just lacks what many other films do, which is the most important part of a good movie: good plot, good characterization and good dialogue. People care about the characters and care about what theyrsquo again speaks whatrsquo, it happens, but unfortunately, Avatar of people and a whole Pandora mission is simply to put on many peoplersquo; interest hellip; or memory.
Well, some would say that the special effects in Avatar are good. But the main point above about being a good plot will stand no matter what. If land is not good, and it's really boring, along with the people and mission, how can I set up and special effects to be good, too? (Some even reviewer described the figures as a ldquo; silly looking blue aliensrdquo;). So wouldnrsquo, t all just merge into this dull, boring and pointless visual clutter, then? It would have been if Irsquo d fall asleep after 20 minutes.
In any case, writing is not Cameronrsquo, a stronghold, but making a huge epic picture, so you should consider improving on its weaknesses rather than to conceal such an incredible genius qualities that many people will buy into
.
This is a "must-see film, innovative and extraordinary. I think that would be considered most cinema goers as another milestone in the history umjetnosti.Razinu realism achieved is remarkable, and although the film is relatively long in real time, to retain excitement and keeps the audience's attention until the end.

Ok, so I just wanted to point out that it was better than I thought it would be. But with that being said it is pretty cliched and predictable. Of course, he gets the girl, and of course he chooses race over their avatar. I would probably too. Apart from the negative is visually stunning. Totally worth seeing just for the CGI. BEAUTIFUL
I just make this movie 1 / 2 stars if I could just because it's beautiful. However, there was no story, or acting at all. I went to the bathroom 3 times on purpose, just to get away from the film. If my husband was not with me I'd left 10 minutes into it.
The first part of this review was written before seeing the movie this afternoon, and it deals mainly with my thoughts on the hype, marketing, interviews and alternative critical reviews that have appeared throughout the world by those lucky enough to vidifilm already. I feel this is the fairest way to judge expectations, which in its role as a reviewer, it happens far too rarely for my liking. I do not look forward to more films being released, as if to suggest that this is a very long wait for me personally was a little understatement. James Cameron wrote the outline and the formula for the avatar before filming Titanic, and only a few years later, I got wind it.
Since I've been waiting for to come. Today is a day of work, and like many people who know me, I'm hoping against hope that's all I want to be.
When the first trailer was released to the world that has, until now, almost salivating at the prospect of this new uber-film from James Cameron, I was just like any other movie fan. I sat at this computer to Apple web site, waiting for a thing pop up in front of me. When he did, I was a little surprised.
I was already familiar with the actors, story, plot, etc., but one of the things that they could not even begin to imagine how the film looked. Cameron has kept his cards close to his chest and, like everyone else, it really is a mystery revealed. As a birthday gift when you think you know what you get, but were surprised when it rolled out and that's not what you wanted, there were many naysayers through most of the communities I often. This does not mean that today is still welcome.
But there were many raised voices and letters about how it looks, just as it did not suit the imagination of the viewer's pregnant. And to the extent that it is certainly true. I did not expect to be so Pandora Halo-esque (the environment in the form of the game does not really enjoy). I, unlike the vocal protesters, however, remained silent. I knew that little could be gleaned from the brief trailer, we were treated, and that Cameron is in his first attempt that people who have been waiting the longest thing you asked most. Spectacle, story, emotion and adventure. Some of it is there, but most are sadly absent.
By the time the second trailer arrived, Cameron put it right and like me, most of those same detractors were left wide eyes and grinning like a three-year-old first see Tigger. The relief was obvious unabound.
The movie was so long in the creative process that is easy to forget what your original expectations. Read more guests who gushingly glowing, but also full of common sense, I was reminded of what I wanted from the Avatar of all those years. I wanted to detail and scale. I wanted to help usher in a new era of film. I wanted to be able to say that I was there when the future of movie making forever changed. To be there when the bar is raised and everyone sat in wonder. In the beginning for me, Avatar was never about the story. I had few details about the point of it all, but what attracted me to the promise of visual pleasures that a new technology was going to be able to provide
POST screening
So, now we are back from Avatar the IMAX 3D projection for a couple hours and I had enough time to digest what I saw in front of me. When you actually sit down and think about the event in its entirety, it is indeed a remarkable achievement of detail and scale in many aspects, not only technologically revolutionary. Very few are the opinions of a step back from the film, unemotionally, and see exactly what it is, however, and there are problems with the film, which largely have been overlooked during the full of praise, which is largely deserved. Yes, it's really a huge film in visual delights. It's like 'great cinema' as you will see does not travel forward a decade or two at a time. Regardless of your opinion about the movie, there is no soul that can say they have seen all this before.
I expect the story will be familiar to most of you by now. Invalid Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) arrives, wheelchairs, drive on Pandora, satellite moon light years away, the golden ticket. His twin brother was supposed to go, but tragically died, only the strong DNA will match the avatar that is created in large expenditures by corporations that they need to navigate the great jungles of Pandora, to study both the flora and fauna, and more covertly, to find a diplomatic solution to the problem repatriating the local blue-skinned people such as population, known as Na'vi. They live right on top of the one thing that people need, appropriately named Unobtanium. It was two hundred years from now and there is "no green left on the planet (Earth)" and to natural resources on Pandora is vital for the future of humanity.
Cameron waste no time in you fall right into action and within a quarter of an hour, Jake arrived, acclimatised and mentally settled his eight legs, blue body skin and take out for a run. For a man who spent more time in her wheelchair than he cares to remember, a feeling of freedom is now given can not be contained. And so begins the story of Jake's three months of his termination Na'vi host, spending his time as a man sleeping in a human base, and their consciences time, as part of Na'vi. He meets and often saves Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), the daughter of a local Na'vi clan leader, and it is at this point that Cameron comes into his own. Every Cameron film is worth the salt is a love story attached somewhere, and Avatar is no different. The relationship between Jake and Neytiri flower as he learns their language, how to become a hunter and how to catch their very own kite to fly around on Pandora. He also includes local delights Na'vi clan and slowly but surely changing its philosophical stance from foreign attackers on a mission to save his planet angry at the mother of invasion that is going on around him, that initially helped to achieve.
So, the story is simple and should be, really. Cameron All the work is not difficult to understand, enter and become enveloped in. self-styled (even ironically) "King of The World" is absolutely the best, without question, at what he does. If you look at his back catalog including the likes Titanic, Terminator 2 and Aliens, and you begin to understand that Avatar is received in the first place. It can not be easily ground, even for him, no. Blue people are like aliens with golden eyes and a tail, six-legged horse, weighing in at twenty minutes less than three hours? Really?
And so the nuts and bolts of it. Is it really worth the time, trouble and huge sums of money to bring this epic to the screen? I will be brutal and say that I honestly am still wrestling with the issue. Even now, after having seen the film, I still do not know if it's good enough to match the expectations, which admittedly is abnormally high. It is remarkable, but I was expecting the best movie I have ever seen, and it's not even close to worthy of such recognition.
The film is a truly amazing view of the amount of detail put into Cameron's Pandora and the indiginous population is beautiful and amazingly anal. From the leaves that dropped obviously careless of the battle we are witnessing that bioluminesence all around you who interacts with characters, so nice that you can only imagine that this is a natural phenomenon, you do not forget that the Pandora is fully designed and dizajniran.Gibanje capture is, without doubt, the best you'll ever see, with our lead characters are no different from their real life counterparts.
Technically, this is a triumph for Cameron, an incredible presentation of what can now be achieved in the film, even if it comes at great expense and years of long use.
Nevertheless, there are still nagging at the back of my mind. If Avatar is a love story, and then Titanic is better. As a love story, it fails. It is too beautful pogledati.Romantika lost on the audience of the sights are spoiled. Is this the best stories? Again, it fails to engage viewers at the philosophical level, even considering that during the 'climatic' edition. Of course, we understand the irony behind the socio-political commentary by Cameron seems to have happened, but until we understand the rights and wrongs that are not handled or stressed eloqeuntly enough to practice the message home. Is it working the best we've ever seen? While Worthington and Saldana are both interesting to play Jake and Neytiri, nor are interesting enough, despite the incredible motion capture, draw the audience in the blossoming relationship. Nor are we moved to the support cast enough to appreciate them fully. Weaver and Rodriguez both play wonderful characters that are sadly short on roundedness.
Ultimately, this is something this reviewer recommends that you see on the big screen as you can find a reason why you need to see it for what it seems, not to the content. Cameron has pulled off something amazing technology here, but what sets it apart from everything else we've seen in a beautiful visually, to be paid for by the fall (a little) for a short time every other aspect.
Gob-smackingly, jaw-droppingly beautiful, but unfortunately it lacks content. (4 star hotel on the IMAX, but to drop one for Blu-ray)
